🍕 Cloud Team at Turknet

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable platforms that empower development teams and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our systems. You will work with cutting-edge technologies in cloud, automation, and container orchestration while driving best practices across the organization.

💻Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate platform services enabling development teams to deliver at scale
• Manage Linux-based systems and ensure their performance and reliability
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Huawei Cloud
• Develop and maintain automation pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and configuration
• Build and manage container platforms with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Contribute to the adoption of microservice architectures and modern deployment practices
• Integrate and support observability and monitoring solutions (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, New Relic)
• Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth CI/CD processes and GitOps best practices
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the platform stack (networking, OS, containers, automation)

👩 👨 Who You Are

• Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Linux/System/Platform Engineer
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
•  Strong enthusiasm for learning and exploring new technologies
•  Strong understanding of automation principles and practices
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (Ansible is a must)
•  Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform is a strong plus)
•   OpenShift experience is a must; Kubernetes and Docker experience required
•  Solid understanding of microservice architectures
•  Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or Go)
•  Experience working with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, Huawei Cloud – certifications are a plus)
• Strong knowledge of Git (Bitbucket, GitHub, or GitLab) and experience with Jira/Bitbucket workflows
•   Good understanding of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, routing basics)
•   Experience implementing and managing observability tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, ELK stack)

✅Nice to Have

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Huawei Cloud)
•  Experience with GitOps frameworks (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux)
•  Exposure to service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)
