🍕 Database Team at TurkNet

We’re looking for experienced Database Administrator to join our game changer team.

💻Responsibilities

• Managing our company's RDBMS systems (Microsoft SQL Server and Postgresql), Time Series (InfluxDB, Prometheus), NoSql (MongoDB), GraphDB (Neo4j) and Vector based database technologies
• To perform database installation, configuration and update operations (to be able to perform within the IasCode concept), to ensure the effective operation of databases and to perform maintenance activities,
• To ensure data security, to solve problems, to backup and restore databases
• To make capacity planning with data analysis
• To support application development activities on database related issues, to design databases
• To support application development activities on database related issues, to design databases
• To monitor and control compliance with processes related to Information Security Management System at database level
• Creating, implementing, controlling deployment scenarios to be made in database systems
• High Available and Always on etc. Establishing and managing (Active-Active, Active-Passive) structures
• Periodically performing performance checks for databases, taking necessary actions for performance improvement, informing stakeholders
• Management of all processes related to databases and database servers, preparation and implementation of technical documentation of relevant standards and information security procedures.

👩 👨 💻 Who You Are

• Having management experience in MS SQL Server and Postgre SQL databases
• Experienced and knowledgeable about NoSql (MongoDB etc.) systems
• Knowledge of database performance improvement (Tuning) issues
• Experienced in Windows and Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of database monitoring tools (Idera, Zabbix)
• Knowledge of DevOps
• Knowledge of repository management, Git etc, Database DRC scenarios, Container technologies, IasCode concept, ElasticSearch, InfluxDb

✅ Must-Haves

We are looking for Database Administrator . So you should have 4+ years of commercial experience.
