We’re looking for experienced Storage and Backup Engineer with a passion for technology and a proactive mindset to join our dynamic and game changer team in the telecommunications industry. 

👩 👨 💻 Who You Are 

• Experience: 3+ years of Storage and Backup Engineer background 
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. 
• Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• Fluency in English: Excellent command of both written and spoken English. 
• Storage Solutions Design & Implementation: Architect and deploy enterprise-level storage solutions using Hitachi Vantara and NetApp systems. Configure and manage Logical Unit Numbers (LUNs), storage pools, and data volumes to optimize performance and capacity. Implement storage tiering and data deduplication strategies to maximize efficiency. 
• Data Protection & Recovery: Design and execute snapshot, cloning, and replication strategies for data protection. Manage backup schedules and retention policies in compliance with organizational standards. Oversee disaster recovery (DR) operations, including DR drills and failover procedures. 
• Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting: Monitor storage and backup systems to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Perform root cause analysis on storage-related incidents and develop long-term solutions. Optimize Input/Output Operations Per Second (IOPS) and throughput across storage networks. 
• Protocol Management & Integration: Ensure proper configuration of ISCSI and Fibre Channel (FC) protocols for SAN environments. Integrate storage systems with virtualization platforms like VMware and Hyper-V. Collaborate with network teams to manage zoning and masking in FC SANs. 
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed configuration documentation and system diagrams for storage infrastructure. Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routine and emergency tasks. Ensure adherence to data governance and compliance regulations. 
• Cloud Storage Expertise: Proficient in designing and managing cloud storage solutions across platforms such as AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, and Google Cloud Storage. Experience with cloud-based backup services and disaster recovery in the cloud. Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and cloud storage gateways. Understanding of cloud data migration strategies and tools. 

✅ Daily Routine: 

• Conduct daily system checks to ensure all storage and backup systems are operational. 
• Review alerts and logs for any anomalies and take proactive measures to prevent issues. 
• Participate in capacity planning meetings to discuss storage needs and future expansions. 
• Collaborate with the IT security team to review and enhance data security measures. 
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.
